Otherkin: A person that believes they are in some way non-human.

Therianthrope: A person that believes they are in some way nonhuman, but of an animal that either currently exists on Earth, or has existed on
Earth at some point.
Therio/Kintype: The animal or creature of which the person identifies with.
Psychological 'kin: A person that believes their therianthropy or otherkinity is [psycho]logical.
Spiritual 'kin: A person that believes their therianthropy or otherkinity is spiritual.
Cladotherian/kin: A person that does not believe they have a specific species of a therio/kintype.
(Ex: Not just a Black Bear, but all Ursidae.)

Phantom: When the person feels limbs from their therio/kintype. (Ex: Feeling cat ears, paws, tail(s), etc.)
Dream; When the person dreams of being in some way, shape, or form, their therio/kintype.
Sensory: When a certain sense is put into priority more than another according to their therio/kintype (Ex: Better sense of smell, hearing, taste, touch, and/or sight).
Aura: When the aura of the person changes to that of their therio/kintype.
Astral: When the person is shifted into their therio/kintype in the astral realm.

Bi-Location: When the person supposedly creates a carbon copy of their therio/kintype and travels the land.

Provoked Vs. Unprovoked: Provoked shifting is caused by factors either in their internal or external environment (ex: Mentally shifting because of watching a video that relates to their therio/kintype). Unprovoked shifting means that nothing has caused their shifts.
