Is there a difference between the terms 'Headspace' or 'Innerworld'?
To some, there might be (perhaps for personal definitions), but generally, no. Headspace, Innerworld, Inworld, Inspace, Headworld, etc. all generally mean the same thing - the place in which the headmates reside when they are not in control of the body.
Does every system have a headspace?
No, not every system. If every system had a headspace, that would be quite the phenomenon. We personally do have a headspace of our own.
Can singlets (people who are not multiple) have a headspace?
Sure! We have never personally met a singlet with a headspace -that we know of- but it's just as possible for them as it is for us. Virtually anyone can have a headspace.
What is your headspace like?
Our headspace is split into various sections (what we call 'wings'), and has two stories. There is one main area of the headspace, which we call the 'Whitespace' (which is literally its name - a large, white space). The other sections are where fellow headmates live. What their personal sections look like inside varies. Most of them are very much like Earth, but there are one or two that are quite different. One of those 'wings' is literally in space, while the other 'wing' that differs from Earth is actually a completely different planet (though a replica of the original), of which that headmate originated from.
If your headspace has Earth-like places, do you have wildlife as well?
Certainly! Most of the wings do, in fact. We have mostly animals that are definitely from Earth (such as squirrels, deer, foxes, etc.), but there have been a few sightings of strange animals that we've never seen in the outworld before. Perhaps they do exist in the outworld (the Earth of which the body lives on, outside of the headspace), but they may either be undiscovered, extinct, or we simply may not have ever seen or heard of the unknown creature(s). We do not consider the animals headmates, either. We respect the animals and their environments/habitats, but also sometimes hunt them for food [and make various other items out of the rest of it, so as not to waste anything on the animal].
How big is your headspace?
It depends on where you are in the headspace. If you walk into the Whitespace, the Whitespace is virtually infinite. You can expand it as far as the eye can see, and then some. However, if you enter someone else's wing, we assume that it is only as large as the planet Earth (or the other 'replica' planet, or 'space area' we talked about before).
Do you have any abilities in your headspace that you cannot do in the outworld?
Yes. In the Whitespace, we are able to project specific sceneries or scenarios. We are also able to project memories, if we wish (However, after we have finished, the Whitespace will go back to normal). Also, if we work hard at it and practice it often, we can materialize objects. Say somebody really wants a certain clothing item that they saw in the outworld, but we didn't have any money to buy it; they could materialize that clothing item within the headspace and wear it. This goes for pretty much anything.
Other than those abilities, physics, time, etc. are pretty much, if not exactly, like Earth's.
Does aging work the same in the headspace as it does in the outworld?
Not necessarily. We've had two cases where this has proven false. Kraven and Lestat have age slided before. Lestat's only age slide was permanent, as opposed to Kraven's, whose ageslides are quite frequent. Other than that, everyone ages normally, that we are aware of.
That being said, we have many different ages here. Ages in our system range from 6 - Unknown (in other words, really old!).
